Welcome to Help Line Academy (PVT) LTD. By enrolling in our courses or using our website (helpline.zya.me), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
1. General Enrollment Policy
- Eligibility: Students must meet the minimum age and educational requirements (e.g., O/L or A/L results) specified for each NVQ or Certificate course.
- Registration: Your seat is confirmed only upon the payment of the Non-Refundable Registration Fee and submission of required documents (NIC copy, Birth Certificate, Educational Certificates).
- Accuracy: You declare that all documents and information provided during admission are true and accurate. Falsifying documents will result in immediate termination without refund.
2. Payment and Refund Policy
We operate a strict financial policy to maintain our facility standards.
- Course Fees: All course fees must be paid on or before the due dates specified in your payment plan. Failure to pay may result in suspension from classes and exams.
- Registration Fees: The initial registration fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstance.
- Course Fee Refunds:
- Before Course Start: If a student withdraws in writing 7 days before the course commencement date, 75% of the paid course fee (excluding registration fee) may be refunded.
- After Course Start: No refunds will be granted after the course has officially commenced, regardless of attendance.
- Exam Fees: NVQ and SLFEB exam fees are paid directly to the respective government bodies and are non-refundable by the Academy.
3. Foreign Employment & Job Assistance
- Training Only: Help Line Academy is a Vocational Training Institute (TVEC Reg P03/0174). We provide the education and certification required for foreign jobs.
- No Job Guarantee: While we provide 100% guidance for the Israel Caregiver and other foreign programs, we do not guarantee job placement. Employment depends on:
- Your performance in the SLFEB exams.
- Selection by foreign agencies/employers.
- Visa approval by the relevant Embassy.
- Third-Party Costs: We are not responsible for visa fees, medical test fees, or bureau registration fees charged by third parties.
4. Student Code of Conduct
- Attendance: 80% attendance is mandatory to sit for final NVQ assessments.
- Dress Code: Students must wear the prescribed uniform (Scrub suit/Coat) during practical sessions and hospital visits.
- Discipline: Harassment, drug use, or damage to Academy property will result in immediate expulsion.
- Safety: Students must follow safety protocols during Phlebotomy (blood draw) and Patient Care practicals. The Academy is not liable for minor injuries caused by student negligence during training.
5. Intellectual Property
- Course Materials: All study guides, tutes, and videos provided by Help Line Academy are our intellectual property.
- Restrictions: You may not copy, scan, or distribute these materials to others or post them online.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Website Content: The content on our website is for informational purposes. While we aim for accuracy, course dates and government regulations (SLFEB/TVEC) may change without notice.
- Third-Party Links: Our website may contain links to external sites (e.g., Facebook, Google Maps). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these sites.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiation with the Academy Administration. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bandaragama, Sri Lanka.
